If Leeds United are to be promoted this season, they will now officially have to do it at Wembley via the play-offs after both Sheffield United and Norwich's promotions were confirmed over the weekend.

Wins against Ipswich Town and Blackburn Rovers, coupled with the Whites 1-1 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday, were enough to settle the top two spots.

After such a breathless season, Marcelo Bielsa and his team will have been determined to avoid extending their season, but now that they have, you can bet they will be going all out to win it.

However, attentions could not help but turn towards the summer transfer window on Monday when it emerged, via Football Insider, that talismanic centre-back Pontus Jansson was apparently considering leaving the club in the summer.

He has been an ever-present in Bielsa's side this season, becoming a huge fan favourite along the way, so it would be a sizeable loss if he were to leave.

But what does it mean for his long-term defensive partner Liam Cooper? What will he be thinking?

Well, given how strong a partnership the pair have formed this season I imagine that Cooper will be predominantly shocked by this story.

The Whites captain does not appear to have any plans on leaving no matter where his team are playing so to hear that his closest teammate may be about to jump ship will sure not sit right with him.
