Lincoln City's great start to the season was brought to a halt this week as they went down 2-1 to MK Dons at Stadium MK.

Having not conceded in their first four matches, the Imps lasted just a minute of the encounter before losing their record, Kieran Agard giving the hosts the lead.

Tyler Walker bagged his second in as many games to restore parity after ten minutes, but MK led again before the break. A wicked deflection beat Josh Vickers, with the Imps claiming offside against George Williams.

Despite dominating the second half, Lincoln couldn't find a way back into the game, the closest they came was on 90 minutes as Jason Shackell's header hit the bar.

They travel to Doncaster this week looking to cement their place in the top six, but face a side fresh from a midweek break and buoyed by beating Fleetwood last weekend. Will Danny Cowley make changes? Here is the XI we expect him to field.

We think the side will be largely unchanged from the last fixture, with just one player being swapped for the Doncaster game.

Josh Vickers will almost certainly keep his place in the sticks, with Harry Toffolo one of only two players to have played every minute of the opening five matches likely to start on the left. The dependable Neal Eardley will surely start on the right with Jason Shackell in the middle of defence.

Cian Bolger had played every minute of the opening four games, but he dropped to the bench this weekend. He could be in line for a recall as both Michael O'Connor and Michael Bostwick battle back from a reduced pre-season schedule.

We think Cowley would be wise to start with Bostwick alongside Joe Morrell, the midfielder called up by Wales this week. O'Connor will then be a viable option from the bench.

Ahead of them, it's a case of 'as you were'. Jorge Grant's delivery has been crucial in the early stages and he's sure to start on the left, with the bullish Harry Anderson on the other flank. Jack Payne has been ever-present so far this season and he'll look to add guile and craft to the attack.

Two-goal Tyler Walker is the early leading scorer for the Imps and will retain his place in attack.
