So far this summer transfer window, Millwall have managed to bring in three players to bolster their side for the new Championship season that got underway last weekend.

The Lions managed a 2-2 draw with losing play-off semi-finalists Middlesbrough at The Den.

New signings Murray Wallace and Jiri Skalak came on as late substitutes to make their debut.

Goalkeeper Ben Amos, the remaining summer signing, was an unused substitute in the curtain-raiser in London.

Having not sold a single player this transfer window, Neil Harris’ men have managed to retain the side that shocked many and finished in eighth place in last season’s Championship.

With the new arrivals, players will undoubtedly lose their place in the side, with some wanting to leave the club to get regular first-team football.

We here at FLW look at two players Neil Harris should cash-in on before this Thursday’s summer deadline day.

With the recent addition of Ben Amos to the club, Dave Martin’s time at Millwall could be under threat.

The former MK Dons keeper failed to make the bench at the weekend for the Lions’ first game of the season against Middlesbrough.

New goalkeeping coach Lee turner recommended Amos to manager Neil Harris, who then secured a season-long loan signing for the 28-year-old.

Amos becoming the Lions’ number two, fighting it out for the number one shirt with Jordan Archer, could signal the end of Martin’s short Millwall career

With the incoming signing of Jiri Skalak and the early season form of Aiden O’Brien, the Northern Ireland international could find first-team opportunities limited this season.

Ferguson ended last season not even in the squad, although travelling with his teammates, it could be a season of the same for the former Newcastle United man.

The 27-year-old didn’t even make the bench for the Lions’ season opener against Middlesbrough at the weekend.

That could be a tell tale sign that Ferguson is surplus to requirements at The Den and should be sold before the 5pm deadline.
