Sheffield Wednesday will look to extend their unbeaten restart to the campaign this evening as they take on promotion chasers West Bromwich Albion.

It'll be a tough game, given the Baggies are challenging for promotion, but they're also struggling for form at the moment and that may well boost Garry Monk's hopes that he can get a result tonight.

Who he names in his side, meanwhile, remains to be seen but one man that has not been seen much since the campaign got back up and running is Adam Reach.

Indeed, a fan asked Dom Howson why that might be the case in a Q&A for Yorkshire Live, and the reported revealed:

"I think it is purely down to the form of Murphy and Harris. Monk went with Murphy and Harris as the wing-backs in his 3-5-2 formation and they have been great outlets and provided the team will lots of creativity and width.

"I am sure Reach is frustrated that he has not started yet but his time will come. He was out a long time with a toe injury so maybe Monk wants to gently ease him back into action."

The Verdict

Reach has perhaps not hit the heights of past seasons this year but that can happen, and it doesn't make him a bad player.

He's got plenty still to offer and Monk may well be thinking of using him in the coming games with things set to get hectic in the next few weeks.

The season is going to be wrapped up quickly now, and who uses their squad the best will determine who gets some good results and who does not.

It's a big game for the Owls tonight, and they'll be hoping to earn another important three points.
