Stuart Armstrong sees his future away from Celtic for next season – according to the Daily Record.
The midfielder was in a similar situation as this last year with the Bhoys after a fine 2016/17. He decided, though, that he’d stay on at the club and that obviously proved wise as he swept up three more trophies.
Now, though, it looks as though the interest in staying is on the wane and that he wants to move on – which could be good news for West Brom.
Indeed, according to the Daily Record again, a few days ago, the Baggies are interested in signing the Celtic man this summer.
With them planning for life back in the Championship they’ll need to sign some quality players who won’t break the bank and Armstrong certainly fits the bill.
Armstrong is a player with quality and is entering his prime.
He can get on the ball and carry it great lengths whilst also using it well when he decides to offload.
West Brom will be on the front foot more this season and having someone like Armstrong in the side will give them a big boost.
