Norwich City will go into Good Friday's clash with Sheffield Wednesday knowing that they can win automatic promotion to the Premier League, should results go their way.

The Canaries put together yet another solid performance against Wigan Athletic last week, any sort of potential banana skin from a relegation-threatened Latics side.

Daniel Farke's men have been unstoppable all season long, and could be the first team to book their place in the Premier League for next season should they beat Wednesday at Carrow Road, and the Owls' bitter rivals Sheffield United lose to Nottingham Forest at Bramall Lane.

It could be a big ask to wrap up promotion this Friday, but it seem almost inevitable that the Norfolk club will find themselves playing in the top-flight next term - however Farke will be demanding his team to keep their foot on the gas.

On Friday, they face a Wednesday side that still have aspirations of reaching the play-offs, so will be hugely focused on gaining an upset over the high-flying Canaries.

Here, we take a look at the starting XI that Farke should field on Friday...

Straight off the bat, Farke has a selection headache on his hands, especially in the middle of midfield. Mario Vrancic and Moritz Leitner returned to first-team action in a late cameo against Wigan last weekend, and will fancy their chances of starting on Friday.

Todd Cantwell didn't have the greatest game against Wigan by his standards, and it is likely that Marco Stiepermann could push out wide slightly, to make way for Leitner through the middle.

Farke has also recently confirmed that Tom Trybull is a doubt for Friday's clash with a knee problem, therefore Vrancic will be champing at the bit to return to the starting line-up and provide fresh ideas in the middle of midfield.

Elsewhere, very little needs to be changed, as Farke's men continue to hunt down a long-awaited return to the Premier League...
