It is a return to Elland Road for Leeds United this weekend, with the Whites preparing to take on Sheffield Wednesday following back-to-back away trips.

Leeds were beaten by Birmingham City last Saturday afternoon, but the Whites responded brilliantly at Deepdale on Tuesday night to win 2-0 under the floodlights.

This weekend is another test for Leeds, though, with Sheffield Wednesday set to arrive at Elland Road and look to dent their automatic promotion hopes.

Steve Bruce’s side are in good form, but Leeds will provide them a stern test with Marcelo Bielsa’s side amongst the best in the division.

Here is a look at how we are expecting Leeds to line-up for the clash:

Kiko Casilla returned to the side last week and produced two good performances in goal – he looks set to continue in place of Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Liam Cooper will captain the side and partner Pontus Jansson at centre-back, with Ezgjan Alioski continuing at left-back and Luke Ayling featuring on the right.

As usual, Kalvin Phillips will shield the defensive unit, which in turn allows Mateusz Klich and Tyler Roberts to press forward in their respective No.10 roles.

Despite carrying a knock into the Preston game, Pablo Hernandez is set to continue on the right, with Jack Harrison lining up on the opposite side of midfield.

In attack, Kemar Roofe is pushing for a starting berth, but Patrick Bamford continues, with the 25-year-old looking to build on Tuesday night’s brace against Preston.
