25-year-old star happy at QPR despite recent transfer rumours

Another weekend of Championship action is here and QPR fans are certainly going to be excited about taking on Cardiff City this time out.

The R’s have started brightly this season under Ian Holloway and they’ll certainly be hoping that they can keep that up and mount a promotion charge this time around.

For sure, though, the game against Cardiff is going to be the biggest test they’ve had so far this season with Neil Warnock’s men bang in form and looking like a real challenger for promotion too.

It should, then, be a good game but whilst we wait to see what happens tomorrow afternoon, it seems as though winger Yeni N’Gbakoto is happy to remain at the club – despite their being serious interest in him.

Indeed, speaking to foot mercato, his agent Philippe Fiorentino has said:

“Yeni is well in London, but I can confirm that French clubs have come to us, like Angers, Toulouse and Guingamp”

It seems, then, that there is no imminent move on the cards but there is clearly interest and so it just remains to be seen whether or not the player stays put for the club past this window.

The Verdict

It’s hard to say whether or not N’Gbaokoto will stay at the club but he certainly looks settled in London for now and so it’s probably best to suggest he’s not going anywhere.

Of course, there seems to be interest but the R’s are going well at the moment and so it would be a good idea to stick around at Loftus Road for this campaign.
