Daniel Farke has been dealt an injury blow to one of his key men ahead of their match against Rotherham United this weekend, which leaves the Norwich boss with a selection headache.

Onel Hernandez has been hugely impressive this season for the Canaries and his excellent start to the season is one of the main reasons as to why Norwich are shock league-leaders heading into the festive period.

But the winger picked up a hamstring injury in the stalemate with Nigel Adkins' relegation threatened Hull side which will come as a huge blow to Norwich's promotion ambitions this season.

Norwich boss Daniel Farke revealed in a recent press conference that the winger is set to miss the game against the Millers after picking up the injury in the draw against Hull.

"He has a scan tomorrow as there seems to be some blood in his hamstring so we had to wait until everything had calmed down.

"I don’t think it’s a big thing as he doesn’t feel any plain when walking or slow jogging, but he is unable to sprint."

With Hernandez out of action against Rotherham this weekend, Farke has a number of options he could call into replace the winger.

But how can we expect Norwich's attacking trio to line-up behind Teemu Pukki?

Find out here....

Cantwell will be expected to fill in with the absence of Hernandez and he has proved himself to be an excellent option to call upon for Daniel Farke's side when needed.

The youngster has made eight starts in total and has caused full-backs all sorts of problems with his pace and trickery proving to be areal threat for the Canaries this season.

The Argentine has been a revelation in the Norwich side this season in his debut season with the Canaries.

The 21-year-old has impressed throughout this years campaign and attacking flair has proved to be a real handful for opposition defences.

Buendia has three goals and three assists to his name and he will be full of confidence of adding to that tally against a leaky Aston Villa defence.

The German midfielder has been ever-present in the Norwich side this season and he will be hoping to retain his place in the starting XI, despite a below-par performance against Hull in midweek.

If he can recapture the good form he had shown earlier in the season, then Norwich will certainly be in with a chance of promotion back to the Premier League by May.
