Swindon Town enter a 'make or break' encounter this evening knowing that the outcome of their season rides on the result.

There's only two fixtures this evening, both of which have huge consequences at either end of the table. Macclesfield play Exeter, a game in which Ritchie Wellens side would love to see a win for the Silkmen.

Notts County will be hoping Exeter stay true to the form book and secure all three points, but that would leave Swindon with a huge battle on their hands to make the play-offs.

If they lose at Newport, the Exiles will go above them in the table. If they win, they could go above Colchester and Carlisle into eighth.

With such fine margins, Wellens knows he must get his team selection right. After a solid win against Bury, he'll be hoping for more away day joy this evening, possibly with this XI...

Whilst their line up appears to be a conventional 4-3-3, it morphs into something akin to a 4-2-1-3 at times. The full backs Koiki and Knoyle often push up as far as the halfway line to help the attack.

The puts emphasis on the two holding players to fill in the gaps. Canice Carroll has started 12 times since joining on loan from Brentford and has certainly impressed alongside Daniel Rose.

Kyle Bennett has played in the advanced midfield role and here's one aspect of the side that might change this evening. We've kept the former Portsmouth man in the side, but leading scorer Michael Doughty could easily slip into the role as well.

Up front, Swindon carry a triple threat. 24-year-old Keshi Anderson scored at the weekend against Yeovil, whilst Kaiyne Woolery has six goals from 24 this season.

Theo Robinson makes up the attack, the journeyman striker joined on loan from Southend in January.
