Blackburn and Aston Villa will be looking to get back to winning ways after suffering heavy defeats before the international break.
Rovers lost 4-1 to Bristol City at Ashton Gate, whereas Villa fell to the same scoreline at Sheffield United to make it four games without a victory.
Whilst Tony Mowbray’s men have still had a decent start to the season, Steve Bruce will be wanting a lot more from his side, who will be expecting to compete for a top-two place this season.
However, they will find it tough at Ewood Park, where Blackburn are yet to taste defeat this season.
Therefore, it would be an impressive for Villa if they could leave Lancashire with three points, but they will be hopeful of doing so after a busy end to the window.
The likes of Yannick Bolasie and Tammy Abraham have been added to Bruce’s squad and could make a big impact.
However, would they get into a combined XI between the two sides?
