The upcoming season looks unpredictable for Leeds United, with new man Marcelo Bielsa taking over from Paul Heckingbottom as boss.

The unorthodox Argentinian is renowned for his unusual methods and strange formation so it will be interesting to see if it pays off in the Championship.

Bielsa is yet to make a statement signing – he has only brought in Lewis Baker on loan from Chelsea.

There is a lot of work to be done at Leeds still this summer and they have already been farming young players out on loan and letting a few go permanently.

Bielsa will be running the rule over his squad in pre-season and hoping that he can get his targets to bolster their promotion credentials.

Here are the four pressing issues that need to be on Bielsa’s agenda because they need addressing sooner rather than later during the close season.

A number of players, including 24-year-old Hadi Sacko, need to offloaded to trim the squad.

Others like Marcus Antonsson, Caleb Ekuban, Laurens De Bock and Luke Murphy could be on their way out.

After selling Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan, Leeds need a new goalkeeper to rival Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Jamal Blackman would be a top choice, coming in on loan from Chelsea.

Bielsa plays with three central defenders and as things stand, he only really has Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper there.

John Egan - of Brentford - would be a top capture after Leeds missed out on Kyle Bartley.

A new striker is a must as Leeds failed to replace Chris Wood's goals last summer.

Any of Abel Hernandez, Matej Vydra or Britt Assombalonga would be excellent.
