It promises to be a busy summer at Nottingham Forest as Aitor Karanka looks to make the changes to his squad that will transform them into promotion contenders.

The former Boro boss has had a tough opening few months in charge of the East Midlands outfit, with the Reds struggling to string together consistent, positive results - or performances, despite plenty of new arrivals in January.

However, fans know the Spaniard needs time although he will be expected to have a much more competitive side ready by August.

As mentioned, that will include a lot of new faces and one area Forest really need to improve is in the final third.

Scoring goals has been a major issue and whilst a new number nine is much-needed, they also need more creativity from midfield.

And, one man who could add that new dimension to the team may already be on their books.

Jorge Grant has enjoyed a fine season on loan at Notts County, as our graphic shows, where he has weighed in with 15 goals and six assists, which has been key in Kevin Nolan's men making the play-offs.

That highlights how he has a real ability and finding good positions in the box and is also very composed in front of goal.

Whilst it's only League Two, he has shown great ability and is technically very sound and playing with better players may actually bring more out of the 23-year old.

The Reds need to add goals to their team and Grant could be the answer for Karanka after a fine season with their neighbours.

Thoughts, Forest fans? Would you give Grant a chance in the first-team? Let us know in the comments below.
