It is rare to read an article about Nottingham Forest that isn't proclaiming a new signing or the potential of one, such has been their insistence at collecting as many new faces as they can recently.

They've been the most active Championship side this summer, bringing in players from across the globe.

They can only play eleven, the same as anyone else, which means lots of those players are going to miss out.

Once the international break is out of the way Aitor Karanka must find a pattern and consistency to their play, he must find a way to achieve results. That isn't by chopping and changing all the time, but by settling into a rhythm.

That is where players begin to find themselves on the fringes, or in the case of a side with such a big squad, watching on from the stands. Some players won't accept that and we expect there to be outgoings in the winter window, be it permanently or on loan.

FLW looks at three players we expect to leave Nottingham Forest in January.

Bridcutt just isn't getting a look in, which is a crying shame as he's a very good footballer.

There's six or seven players ahead of him in the pecking order, two of which have arrived since the loan window closed, which signals the end of the road for the 29-year old.

Ariyibi is very much a forgotten man at Forest and will surely be at the head of the queue for a departure, if a suitor can be found.

He's only 23, but his Northampton loan last season was cut short by injury and the club's progress seems to be leaving him lagging behind.

There's a chance they'll send him on loan, but with the influx of talent the likely outcome is a permanent move and a fresh start.

Yates won't be going on a permanent deal, there's too much promise there to let him go for good.

He does need regular football though and he won't get that at the City Ground just yet. If a Championship loan can't be found, then he'll perhaps find a club in the upper reaches of League One with which to prove his worth, again.
