Lincoln City look to keep the pressure on current League Two leaders MK Dons this weekend with a tricky trip to Stevenage.

It was Stevenage who, just three weeks ago, beat MK Dons to keep the Imps top of the table. Danny Cowley's men are now second, albeit with a game in hand and can do themselves no end of good with a win this weekend.

The Imps have lost just one in eleven, but an inability to kill games off has allowed the Dons to overhaul a seven point gap. Tomorrow, Cowley will be hoping his players can put a lively and combative Stevenage side to the sword.

The Imps won 2-1 at Broadhall Way last season following a red card to striker Matt Green, but it will be a much-changed XI that takes to the field tomorrow, with the squad evolution being notable and dramatic.

Here's the XI we believe Cowley should play tomorrow...

Smith has been on loan at Maidstone, but was recalled in midweek following an injury to current number one Josh Vickers.

He's likely to play with the Vickers situation unclear, but as a former England C stopper, he's got pedigree.

Eardley will play right back for the Imps.

He's got lots of experience and is one of the key players in the current set up.

He almost bagged for himself against Carlisle in the FA Cup and is a constant threat from the right-hand side.

There's only one option at left back currently, Harry Toffolo. Sam Habergham is still struggling to get fit, meaning the former Norwich youngster remains in the side.

He's been excellent since his summer move, overlapping the wide players and causing real damage from the wide positions.

Jason Shackell is still a top quality defender with no business in League Two and he plays when fit.

He's a big, strong player who can organise and manage players, as well as defend superbly.

Michael Bostwick completes a pairing at the back which would surely grace a host of League One teams.

The former Peterborough captain is equally as adept in midfield, but he's currently doing a superb job alongside Shackell at the back.

Tom Pett will surely play against his former side, although there's a three way tussle in the middle of the park.

Stevenage fans won't be used to seeing him screening the back four and driving from deep, but that is likely to be his role this weekend.

Frecklington is Lincoln's talisman, a player born and bred in the city with experience of Championship football in his not-so distant past.

He's only just come back from injury but when he plays he offers a drive from midfield that is vastly underrated by some fans.

There's a couple of options on the wide right, but one player who is surely due a chance is Derby County loanee Kellan Gordon.

He's bagged two in two from the bench recently and will be hoping to displace fan's favourite Harry Anderson this weekend.

Bruno Andrade is surely the finest winger outside the top three divisions and will soon be attracting attention from much higher up.

He's fast, can take a player on and isn't afraid to shoot. His delivery has been improving too and he got two assists in the 2-0 FA Cup win last weekend.

Bradford City loan player McCartan plays a support striker role, but also drops deep to occupy the midfield of the opposition.

He loves to get on the ball and carry it forward, but the key to the Imps success is his proximity to the main striker.

John Akinde bagged last weekend in the FA Cup to take his tally to the season for nine and he's another one hoping to keep that run going.

He's taken time to settle at Sincil Bank, but he's a big powerful lad with lots to offer both facing goal, and with his back to it.
