Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has once again named his team for this weekend's match early, with the starting XI released on Twitter this lunchtime by the club.

The Whites meet Norwich City in a massive clash between two sides hunting a place in the Premier League, with the enigmatic Argentinian manager showing his hand early in regards to team selection.

The big news as far as Leeds fans are concerned will be the inclusion of Pablo Hernandez. He asked to be substituted in the dying embers of their win at Rotherham, sparking injury fears that appear to be unfounded.

There's also no place for Kalvin Phillips, with Adam Forshaw preferred in the holding midfield role. Jack Clarke, the teenage sensation taken off at half time of the win against the Millers, is also left out. Tyler Roberts is expected to start, he replaced Clarke in that win.

In defence, Pontus Jansson looks set to return after serving his one-match suspension for the red card picked up against Stoke City. Ezgjan Alioski continues at left back in the absence of Barry Douglas.

The Verdict

There are few surprises in this lineup, but it has been named without the potential signing of Daniel James, so could be open to change. There's still no Stuart Dallas or Barry Douglas, but both came through the Under 23 game this week.

Whites' fans also eagerly await the return of Patrick Bamford and Izzy Brown, but neither have been named in the XI to face the Canaries.
