Millwall face the daunting task of getting a win at Elland Road when they take on Leeds United this weekend.

Neil Harris’ men are coming off the back of a decent win in the league over Birmingham City, before a cruel cup exit at the hands of Premier League opposition in Brighton and Hove Albion.

It will be a tough encounter for the relegation-threatened Lions who need a win to pull away from the bottom three.

Cup runs, and previous results will have no bearing on this fixture – one that is one of the most highly-anticipated for the Den faithful.

Leeds will be heavy favourites, but this time of the year throws up some strange results.

Harris will be hoping this weekend is one of those occasions.

And if Millwall are to beat the odds and see off the promotion-chasing outfit, this is the XI the Lions boss needs to field.

Despite his mistake in the defeat to Brighton in the cup, Martin has been solid in both games he has played and has calmed down a shaky back four as of late.

The defender has come on leaps and bounds this season and will be aiming to put in another highly impressive performance.

In the side in place of Shaun Hutchinson, Pearce has shown real leadership qualities while also impressing during the 90 minutes.

[snack_break title="CB: Jake Cooper"]

Arguably one of Millwall’s biggest threats as they head to Elland Road, Cooper will need to be aware of the dangers Leeds pose as well as being a target from set pieces.

[snack_break title="LB: James Meredith"]

Not the best campaign for the Australian after his storming time last term – he will be hoping to impress tomorrow afternoon.

[snack_break title="RM: Jed Wallace"]

The winger was unplayable in the cup tie with Brighton, and that sort of guile and energy will be needed at Elland Road this weekend.

[snack_break title="CDM: Ryan Leonard"]

It was revealed he was playing with a knock, but with his fitness assured, a performance at Elland Road is a necessity.

[snack_break title="CM: Ryan Tunnicliffe"]

He has been superb since his return to the starting XI and should find himself there once again tomorrow afternoon.

[snack_break title="CM: Ben Thompson"]

A breath of fresh air since his return from a loan spell at Portsmouth, he could well be key for the Lions this weekend.

[snack_break title="LM: Ben Marshall"]

As yet Marshall has not hit the heights of last season’s spectacular loan spell but this weekend could prove to be his second coming if all goes to plan.

[snack_break title="ST: Lee Gregory"]

The main man for Millwall in their attack, Gregory will be vital to the Lions’ style of play and chances of beating Leeds at Elland Road tomorrow.
