Fulham goalkeeper Marek Rodak has discussed the club's push for a spot in next season's Premier League ahead of their clash with Millwall tonight.

The goalkeeper became Scott Parker's first-choice at Craven Cottage in October following Marcus Bettinelli's questionable form and the Slovakian keeper hasn't looked back since with some impressive performances.

Speaking to The Evening Standard, Rodak said: "The dream now is to keep playing and get promoted this season.

"It would be nice to go back to Wembley but then it would be nice to go up automatically as well. I want to get the club in the Premier League."

The Cottagers were relegated from the Premier League last season and Parker did a good job after being appointed to keep the nucleus of his squad together.

Despite a tough start to the season, they have since found their feet back in the second tier and climbed up the table despite a slight dip in form over the festive period.

They have now gone unbeaten in their last five, pulling themselves up to third, and are currently one point behind second-placed Leeds United with a game in hand.

Parker has had to contend with squad injuries as Aleksandar Mitrovic spent a few weeks on the sidelines last month as well as Anthony Knockaert picking up a knock in recent weeks.

The Verdict

Rodak has played a big part in helping Fulham reach the stage that they are at and he will be dreaming of promotion to the Premier League.

Having been at the club since he was 16, being their starting keeper while achieving success in the Championship would mean a big deal to him.

From his words, it doesn't sound as if Rodak is particularly fussed about how they get promoted - just how they get the job done come May.
