Jack Clarke is somebody that Leeds United have badly missed in recent weeks since the young winger was taken ill at Middlesbrough in February.

Although they have had some impressive results, the 18-year-old’s blistering pace and strong end product had become a real weapon to the Whites and one they will be keen to get back.

They remain set on returning to the Premier League for the first time in 15 years this season and need to see out just ten more games to achieve that.

They currently sit in second place with just ten matches left of the season, two points ahead of Sheffield United in third place and two behind league-leaders Norwich City.

And the club and their fans were given a boost on Monday night when Clarke made his playing return, turning out for the club’s under-23 side at Elland Road.

But with his return closing in, how will Jack Harrison, who has been filling in on the wing during his absence, be feeling?

Harrison has done reasonably well without dazzling during Clarke’s absence, but will surely know that he is yet to do enough to warrant keeping his teammate out of the side.

So the Man City loanee will be sweating after seeing Clarke return to the pitch last-night and will know he has a real fight on his hands.

But that increased competition in what has been a tricky position for Bielsa will only help the team on a whole.
