Leeds United will be aiming to move back to the top of the Championship with a win over Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have lost two four of their last six matches and have slipped from their perch from the summit of the league after a poor run of recent form.

Last week’s damaging defeat at home to their nearest challenger Norwich City leads them on to be this weekend’s clash with play-off chasing Middlesbrough their next task.

A Boro win would move them within four points of the Whites and consolidate their place in the top-six even more.

But three points for Bielsa’s side will see them move back to the position they have occupied for much of the campaign.

With that said, if they are to get back to winning ways and topple Middlesbrough on Saturday, this is the starting XI Bielsa should go with.

January signing Kiko Casilla is going to be keeping his place in goal, with a back four of Ezgjan Alioski, Liam Cooper, Pontus Jansson and Luke Ayling to complete the back five for Leeds.

Adam Forshaw and Mateusz Klich could well line up in the midfield together.

Ahead of them, Jack Harrison and Jack Clarke will be on the flanks with Patrick Bamford used as a second striker behind the club’s top scorer Kemar Roofe.
