Birmingham City get their new season underway with a home clash against Norwich City this weekend.

The Blues host Daniel Farke's Norwich side at St Andrew's on Saturday in a 3pm kick-off to get the season started.

It has been a difficult summer for Birmingham, who have had a transfer embargo preventing them from signing new players.

They have also struggled to offload some of their fringe players to raise funds and comply with Financial Fair Play.

Birmingham have made one summer signing with Danish left-back Kristian Pedersen arriving in the West Midlands.

However, the EFL are refusing to allow him to be registered due to his transfer embargo and he is unlikely to be available for the clash against Norwich.
