Jack Harrison is hoping to return to Leeds United on loan next season, according to a report by Football Insider.
The 22-year-old was a regular for the Whites last season, scoring four goals in 37 Championship appearances after joining on a season-long loan from Manchester City in the summer.
Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa is a big admirer of the winger and is hoping to sign him on another temporary deal, as he looks to put together a squad capable of winning automatic promotion next season.
This latest report states that Bielsa is hoping that the club will be able to sign Harrison before the Leeds players return for pre-season training.
Harrison enjoyed his time at Leeds last season and believes another loan move to Elland Road would be the best thing for his development.
Harrison was an important player for Leeds in the Championship last season, although he did frustrate fans at times with some inconsistent performances.
Bielsa seems convinced that he can get the best out of the player though and another loan move to Leeds would probably be the best thing for his career, as he wouldn’t get a chance in the first-team at Manchester City next season.
I’m not sure how Leeds fans would feel about re-signing Harrison on loan next season, but I believe he can be a good signing for the Whites, as he already knows the club well and would not take time to settle in.
