Stoke City will be seeking to continue their fine start to their Sky Bet Championship season this weekend as they play host to Peterborough United at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.

The Potters come into the game off the back of two impressive away wins over Luton Town and Blackpool respectably, which have seen them move into fifth place in the league standings at the time of writing.

Michael O'Neill has developed a system which really gets the best out of his players and will no doubt be delighted with some of the performances that he has seen from them so far as a collective.

They take on a Peterborough side who have only won two of their last six and currently occupy 21st place in the table heading into the weekend.

Here, we take you through our predicted Stoke City starting eleven to take on the Posh tomorrow afternoon.

Joe Bursik will be between the sticks against his former club, with the promising young keeper looking to keep a third clean sheet in a row.

In defence, Ben Wilmot should step in for the sidelined Harry Souttar, which should see Danny Batth move into the centre of the back three, with Leo Ostigard keeping his place on the right.

Josh Tymon and Tommy Smith will once again act as the attacking wing backs, forming a midfield five in possession and a back five out of it.

In central midfield, Joe Allen will act as the deep lying playmaker alongside Romain Sawyers and Jordan Thompson, with the trio having performed well as a unit during the past few games.

Up top, the in form Jacob Brown and Steven Fletcher should get the nod ahead of the likes of Sam Surridge and Tyrese Campbell, with Brown looking to pick up from where he left off against Luton.
