Paul Clement hasn't endured the start to the season he would have liked to at Reading. The club currently sit 20th in the Championship table, just two points off the relegation places.
The Royals have won just two games this season and will be hoping they can improve on some positive performances against Brentford and Hull City.
Many fans argue that Clement isn't the right man to take Reading forward, but there have been a number of under-performing players that Clement is having to manage this season.
But with the January transfer window edging ever closer, who are we likely to see heading for the exit door for a loan deal elsewhere?
The likes of the ageing Garath McCleary may find their game time limited, whilst youngsters such as Danny Loader will be hopeful of regular game time to further their development in the professional game.
Find out who we can expect to see head out on loan in January....
Loader is Reading's brightest young player to come through the academy since the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson and will be itching to get some first-team action under his belt. But Paul Clement's reluctance to use younger players in his side, may see Loader move out on loan to prove him self in the senior side of the game. He is second in the top goalscorers chart for the Premier League 2 Division 2 with six goals and has represented England at four different youth levels, scoring twice for the England Under 19's side which featured the likes of Manchester City's Phil Foden.
McNulty arrived from Coventry City in the summer and many fans had high hopes for him and with comparisons to former Reading striker Adam Le Fondre, it's clear to see why he is highly thought of. But the striker has been limited to just five substitute appearances and one start in the Carabao Cup this season, it is likely he will look for first team action elsewhere for the rest of the season.
Clement arrived at the club in the summer of 2017 and was a Jaap Stam signing before the Dutchman was relieved of his duties at the Berkshire-based club. He had been used in many positions for Reading last season but since the arrival of Paul Clement he has been limited to one substitute appearance all season, with no appearances in the league for the Royals. He was slow to adjust to the English game after arriving from Jong Ajax in Holland but has proved himself towards the end of last season and will be keen to get back into competitive action.
