Charlton have found themselves battling in the depths of League One over recent seasons but that wasn't always the case with the club.

The side were once prominent in the Premier League and had the likes of Darren Bent running out for them on a weekly basis, banging in the goals.

However, they've since seen a downturn in fortunes both on and off the field but they'll be hoping for an improvement soon - starting with this season.

This year, the Addicks have been struggling in the third tier, with the side sat in the relegation places.  They've won just twice so far and have picked up only nine points in total - and as the season carries on, they'll want to be pushing away from the drop zone and up towards the right end of the league.

In terms of the kits though, Charlton have had a variety of different coloured strips over the years. From yellow to purple and white, the Addicks have had a number of classic strips that hark back to those times spent in the Premier League and second tier of English football.
