James Maddison is surely a man in demand this summer after what was a stellar season in the Championship in 2017/18.

After a campaign where he quickly proved himself more than good enough for the second tier, Norwich City are now well aware they face a big fight to try and keep him at their club.

Certainly, a Premier League berth will surely be handed him sooner rather than later with both Everton and Leicester City linked with a move for him - as per the Mirror.

With that in mind, then, here at Football League World we're looking at the attacking midfielder's stats from last season and it's safe to say they are impressive:

With 14 goals and another 8 laid on for his team-mates, Maddison helped contribute to 22 goals from midfield - this for a Norwich side that struggled for goals elsewhere across the pitch.

Certainly, then, surrounded by better players he could deliver such numbers again even in the Premier League and that is what Everton and Leicester would be hoping for if they signed him up.

As his other numbers show, meanwhile, he's also a creative force with his passing play and with both the Toffees and the Foxes needing to be more offensive to get near the top six, it's easy to see why they're hunting him.
