22 facts about Charlton Athletic’s football shirts over the years – But are they genuine or fake?

on

Charlton Athletic have managed to keep themselves well in the mix for the play-off places in League One with Nigel Adkins getting off to a decent start as manager and picking up back-to-back wins in their last two games.

The Addicks have had something of an eventful campaign in League One following their relegation from the Championship, with Lee Bowyer having resigned as manager so he could takeover at Birmingham City. That came with them looking like they were not in the right sort of form to finish inside the play-offs.

However, Adkins has managed to get a good reaction from the squad in his first few games in charge and there will be some confidence that the Addicks can go on to secure a top-six finish. They will need to put a strong run of form together in the remaining games and hope others around them slip up.

While we wait to see what happens with Charlton in the end-of-season run-in, we have put together a quiz to test your knowledge on their shirts from down the years. But can you identify which of these 22 facts are genuine and which are fake.
