Sheffield Wednesday made it three wins from four in the Championship on Tuesday night with a battling 1-0 victory against a spirited Hatters side at Hillsborough.

Summer signing Kadeem Harris scored the only goal of the game in the 54th minute firing in from close range following Steven Fletcher's header.

It is a result that leaves them top of the second-tier table, for the time being anyway, with Leeds United set to face Brentford tonight.

It was also their second cleansheet of the season which, after a summer spent fruitlessly chasing the permanent signing of Michael Hector, will be a pleasant surprise to everybody connected to the club.

Once again, it was Tom Lees and summer-signing Julian Börner who made-up the central duo in Lee Bullen's back-four and once again they performed brilliantly.
