Tranmere Rovers are having a fine campaign back in the Football League this year and tonight they get a nice bonus on top.

The Super White Army take on Tottenham tonight at Prenton Park in a game that has the makings of a classic FA Cup 3rd round tie.

Rovers overcame local rivals Southport in the 2nd round to clinch the chance to face the Premier League title challengers and the ground will be rocking tonight.

In the play-off race in League Two, too, Tranmere won't be just there to make up the numbers and enjoy playing some of the best in the sport, they'll be looking to cause a cup upset for sure.

Micky Mellon will have been getting his players ready for this ever since full-time against Macclesfield Town and here is the XI we think he'll opt to play...

Scott Davies should start in goal.

Adam Buxton will likely feature at right back.

Mark Ellis is the first of the centre-halves.

Manny Monthe was booked against Macclesfield but should play here.

Liam Ridehalgh will look to fly up and down the left.

Jake Caprice is on the right of a four-man midfield.

Jay Harris should feature in the middle.

Luke McCullough is set to stay until the end of the season now and should play here.

Jonny Smith was subbed against Macclesfield but could still play in this one.

James Norwood is the main threat to Tottenham, he'll be ready for this one.

Connor Jennings bagged a brace to secure Rovers' passage past Southport.
