Reading have had a tricky run of late and have failed to pick up a victory in their last five Championship games.

The Royals did, however, scrape through to the FA Cup fifth round on Tuesday night as they beat Cardiff City on penalties.

This weekend, Mark Bowen's side host Hull City at the Madejski Stadium as they look to get back to winning ways in the Championship.

The Tigers are in torrid form at the moment and were suffered a 5-1 hammering at the hands of Brentford last weekend.

Here's the likely XI that Bowen will put out on Saturday...

The Royals are expected to make just the one change from their last league game against Cardiff City. Reading drew the game in the Welsh capital and Yakou Meite scored the only goal for Bowen's side.

Rafael Cabral is expected to keep his place in goal despite Sam Walker's penalty shoot-out heroics in midweek. Walker managed to save Aden Flint's spot-kick in the FA Cup fourth round replay, which gave the Royals a crucial advantage during the shoot-out.

Reading are set to keep a back three for the visit of Hull, and 21-year-old Tom McIntyre should retain his place at centre-back after impressing against Cardiff's aerial threat last week. Liam Moore and Michael Morrison have been consistent in the side throughout the campaign and will likely keep their places.

Chris Gunter will occupy the right wing-back position with Andy Yiadom not returning from injury in time for the clash. On the opposite flank, it seems likely that Omar Richards will come in for Jordan Obita after the left-back featured in three games in a week for the first time since his long-term injury.

In the midfield Pele, John Swift and Ovie Ejaria will all be aiming to return to form, having dropped off in some of their recent Championship fixtures.

Up top, Sam Baldock is expected to partner the in-form Yakou Meite, who has netted three goals in his last four appearances. The Royals will be aiming to get three points against a Hull side who have lost their last five games in all competitions.
