Blackburn Rovers host Wigan Athletic tomorrow evening in another local game after last weekend’s disappointment against Preston North End.

Tony Mowbray’s side have dropped off in recent weeks after a pretty dreadful run of form.

Rovers have not won in their last seven games and have lost six of those, this after a run of three successive victories.

Blackburn have slipped down to 17th in the table and off the pace of the play-offs, and 11 points ahead of the relegation zone and play-off places respectively.

A second home game in four days will give Mowbray a chance to make amends for the loss to Preston this past weekend and get a much-needed win to arrest their current slump.

With that said, this is Blackburn XI that Mowbray must field in order to halt their slide.

Raya has been a consistent member of the Rovers this season and will surely need to start tomorrow.

[snack_break title="CB: Ryan Nyambe"]

A right-sided centre-half in a 3-5-2 formation which may be used again with Charlie Mulgrew injured.

[snack_break title="CB: Derrick Williams"]

Williams could be the main man in the middle for Rovers tomorrow.

[snack_break title="CB: Amari’i Bell"]

Ousted this past weekend but came on for Mulgrew and could play again here.

[snack_break title="RM: Harrison Reed"]

Reed kicks off the five-man midfield.

[snack_break title="RCM: Richie Smallwood"]

Smallwood should retain his place in the starting XI despite coming off in the 72nd minute last time out.

[snack_break title="LCM: Lewis Travis"]

The 21-year-old has been drip fed Championship football this season and should come back in the side for the first time since the Rotherham defeat at the start of March.

[snack_break title="LM: Elliott Bennett"]

Bennett was on the left of a midfield four last time out and could be there again.

[snack_break title="CAM: Bradley Dack"]

The mercurial attacker will be deployed in the number ten role once more.

[snack_break title="ST: Adam Armstrong"]

In a front pair with Danny Graham at the weekend, expect Armstrong to stay there.

[snack_break title="ST: Danny Graham"]

That lone striker tomorrow will be Graham who will have ample support behind him as they look to get a win over struggling Wigan.
