It was a majorly disappointing weekend for all concerned with Nottingham Forest, as the Reds succumbed to only their second league defeat of the season at home to Norwich City.

In front of a sellout crowd, expectations were high amongst the City Ground faithful having gone unbeaten in six league games, and Aitor Karanka's men got off to the perfect start when Lewis Grabban scored within the opening five minutes of the game.

A quickfire, second-half brace from Canaries centre-half Timm Klose, however, condemned Forest to their first home league defeat of the campaign - a result in which leaves the Reds sitting in 9th place after thirteen games.

Karanka's men have the perfect chance to right their wrongs on Wednesday night, with an away trip to the division's strugglers Bolton Wanderers, and after a lacklustre performance against Norwich on Saturday, there are bound to be changes.

Here, we take a look at the Forest XI that we expect Aitor Karanka to field against Bolton on Wednesday...

Pantilimon has come under major criticism for his performance against Norwich, but Karanka has recently backed him in light of the fans' comments, so is expected to keep his place in the side on Wednesday.

Janko was replaced by Tendayi Darikwa at the weekend, but the Porto loanee deserves to be put back into the team tomorrow.

Dawson should return tomorrow night - Hefele and Fox were far from convincing on Saturday afternoon.

Danny Fox, aside from a poor performance on Saturday, has been fantastic for the Reds all season and deserves to keep his place in the team tomorrow.

Jack Robinson looks very likely to return to first-team action tonight - he missed the weekend's encounter after picking up a red card against Middlesbrough but he is now available for selection, and has been impressive this season.

Guedioura should be the first name on the teamsheet tonight.

Watson and Colback looked far too laboured and slow in midfield on Saturday afternoon and the introduction of Guedioura's energy and grit is needed.

Colback has formed a good understanding with Guedioura this season and should keep his place in the side.

Cash was rested for Saturday's encounter in place of Gil Dias, but the winger should definitely look to regain his place in the team tonight.

Carvalho didn't have too much of a good game on Saturday, and Joe Lolley has looked threatening when playing behind the striker this season - he should play here on Wednesday night.

Due to Robinson earning a starting berth, this could mean that Osborn can return to his natural left-wing position on Wednesday having operated as a left-back on Saturday.

No doubt about this one - Grabban is in fine form having netted his sixth goal in as many league games at the weekend, and the 30-year old will be hopeful of another goal on Wednesday night.
