Marcelo Bielsa is gearing up for his first season in English football with Leeds United but will hope to bring in a few new signings before the opener against Stoke.

The Whites have been surprisingly quiet in the window so far, with Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker the two major additions, with the pair signing from Chelsea on season-long loans.

Yet, Leeds had hoped to secure more deals by this stage and it's been a frustrating window so far.

The Yorkshire side lost out to Derby County for Florian Jozefzoon, whilst deals for Matej Vydra and Abel Hernandez have hit a stumbling block in the past few weeks.

Despite that, there is still time to conclude some deals and Bielsa will be hoping to splash the cash in the next two weeks as he looks to bolster his squad.

Here we look at three transfers Leeds should look to finalise...

The Wolves defender will surely be available on a loan deal for the season and would add a lot to this Leeds XI.

Bielsa is sure to play a high line and Hause boasts the pace to cope in that style, whilst he's also capable on the ball.

Therefore, with the Whites short at centre-back, he would be a major upgrade on what they have.

Another loan, the Manchester City attacking midfielder would add creativity and flair to the team - the sort of qualities Bielsa wants.

His opportunities will be limited under Pep Guardiola this season which is understandable given the quality he has to choose from, so he should sanction a temporary spell for his highly-rated youngster.

Quite simply, Leeds are desperate for a clinical forward in this window and the 21-goal top scorer from last seasons Championship would be a real statement signing.

Negotiations have dragged on and an agreement seems way off now but Leeds have a strong interest in the player and need to resurrect the deal as he really would transform this side and be the cutting edge in the final third that Bielsa craves.
