‘2016 all over again’ – 7 things Blackburn fans said after lacklustre display in Wigan defeat

Blackburn Rovers slumped to a second successive defeat and now have just one win in their last six matches after their loss on Wednesday night.

Tony Mowbray’s side slumped to a 3-1 reverse against Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium as they fell to 13th in the Championship table.

It was another heavy defeat in four days having been easily beaten by Preston North End 4-1 last Saturday.

Rovers fond themselves 2-0 down before a Dan Burn own goal gave them hope late on.

But Callum mcManaman added a third to put the game out of reach of the visitors to cap off a terrible week so far for Mowbray’s men.

Blackburn failed to get going, as they had struggled to do last weekend, too, in what has been an alarming dip in form since their solid early season form.

There was plenty of negative responses from the club’s fans after the final whistle.

And with that said, here’s how the Blackburn supporters reacted to Wednesday night’s defeat to the Latics.
