After breaking through to first-team level in South Wales, the frontman eventually turned out for the Bluebirds on a total of 76 occasions before then moving on to Birmingham, a club in which he enjoyed the best period of his career to date.

After arriving at St Andrew's, the striker became a key part of the club's plans, offering a positive attacking outlet during his early years due to his ability to hold up the ball and bring others into play.

He became something of favourite amongst the club's fanbase as he went on to appear in a total of 200 games for the Blues including the League Cup final back in 2011, in which the Midlands club famously overcame Arsenal to lift the trophy at Wembley.

Jerome's spell with the Blues eventually came to an end in 2011 as he swapped Birmingham for Stoke City in a bid to take his career up a notch.

He would go on to endure a lacklustere spell at the Bet365 Stadium, finding the net just 12 times before enduring spells with Crystal Palace, Norwich City and Derby County respectively before jetting off for a new found career move in Turkey last season.

Since moving to Goztepe, the strong forward has only found the net on nine occasions as he continues to see out his playing days on the continent after what has been a career that promised much but has ultimately  delivered very little on the face of it.
