Saturday afternoon presents the perfect opportunity for Steve Bruce's assistant managers Stephen Clemence and Steve Agnew to see what their Sheffield Wednesday squad is made of, ahead of the Owls' home clash with Luton Town in the F.A Cup.

The duo will be looking to evaluate their new squad and pick out the key players as well as the deadwood, to provide Bruce with a detailed report ahead of when the former Manchester United man begins his post on the 1st of February.

For those thinking that it'll be an easy test for Wednesday at the weekend, think again - Nathan Jones' men are in incredible form in League One and sit very comfortably in the promotion places having lost just one of their last nineteen games.

Likely to be backed by a healthy traveling contingent, Wednesday undeniably need to be at the top of their game if they are to advance into the fourth round - but the players should be looking to rise to the occasion and show Clemence and Agnew what they are made of.

Here, we take a look at the Sheffield Wednesday XI that the pair should play against Luton tomorrow...

Having started for the first time in well over a year for Wednesday against Birmingham on New Year's Day, Westwood will now be looking to finally nail his place down in the side, after a torrid time under Jos Luhukay.

Baker was a regular under Luhukay but has recently lost his place in the side to Liam Palmer. The youngster should be given a chance to impress this weekend, giving Palmer a rest.

Lees has been an everpresent for Wednesday this season, and there is no reason why he should be dropped regardless of squad rotation or not.

Having failed to feature for a couple of weeks, Pudil will be looking to impress Agnew and Clemence and show why he deserves a place in the side instead of Michael Hector this weekend.

Matt Penney will be another player who will be knocking on the door for a first-team recall this weekend, and will be looking to battle Morgan Fox for the left-back role.

After losing his place in the team to Sam Hutchinson over the last couple of games, Saturday will be a hugely important day for Joey Pelupessy. He was a regular feature in midfield at the start of the season, and will be looking to replicate that form this weekend.

It's surely last-chance saloon for Boyd this weekend - the 33-year old has featured in the Owls' last four games and will be looking to impress this weekend.

One of Wednesday's standout performers this season, there is no reason why Bannan should be rested this weekend.

Reach has scored seven and produced three assists this season, and Owls fans will be praying that they keep hold of their star-man in January.

Matias completes an unchanged midfield that will be looking to show their class on Saturday.

Having got on the scoresheet against Birmingham on Tuesday, Steven Fletcher could be rested for this weekend's clash. Atdhe Nuhiu could look to come in, with Lucas Joao and Fernando Forestieri unavailable.
