There will be a lot of optimism around Ashton Gate heading into the international break, with Bristol City in the top six.

Save a little wobble, Dean Holden's first few months as permanent Robins head coach have been fruitful and his faith in youth seems to have won him a fair bit of popularity among the Bs3 faithful.

Antoine Semenyo, Taylor Moore, Zak Vyner, and Tyreeq Bakinson are four young players that he's put his trust in this term and four players that have begun to repay it.

But who could be the next one to break through? We've highlighted two youngsters emerging at City that Robins fans need to be aware of...

Ayman Benarous

The 18-year-old playmaker looks like exactly the sort of player that could have Ashton Gate on its feet in years to come.

An attacking midfielder with excellent agility and dazzling footwork, Benarous is one of those players that just seems to glide with the ball at his feet and has the ability to tie defenders up in knots (as the below compilation shows).

The teenager's potential is far from a secret either, as he was called up by the England U17s earlier this year and reports on Twitter over the summer suggested Arsenal were watching him.

He'll likely need to bulk up a little and continue to develop his game before he's ready to feature for Holden's side but the teenager is certainly someone that City fans will want to keep an eye out for.

Did these 17 Bristol City players ever actually score a league goal for the club?

James Morton

The Robins are hardly running short of central midfielders at the moment, particularly with Liam Walsh and Joe Williams set to return, but Morton could be someone that anchors the side in future years.

The 21-year-old is a deep-lying midfielder and one that when he's on song, can control games for his side.

Morton is very highly rated at the South West club, having been handed a new four-year deal last summer and then making his debut back in September, and is out on loan with Grimsby Town in League Two this term – a spell that could help Holden decide whether he is ready moving forward.

Any player that has drawn comparisons to City legend Brian Tinnion is one to take notice of and the left-footed midfielder is certainly someone that the Ashton Gate faithful need to be aware of.
