Wolves will be looking to add to the momentum they gained on Easter Monday, following their impressive win over Leeds.

Now, 10 points clear of 22nd placed Blackburn, making it statistically impossible for them to get relegated.

Paul Lambert will be looking to further their league position against Blackburn this weekend.

Winning six out of their last eight games, Lambert was turned Wolves' season around by exploiting their squad depth, as well as utilising key players such as Helder Costa and Ivan Cavaleiro.

However, Blackburn have a lot more to lose in this fixture compared to Wolves who are now safe of the drop zone.

No doubt, Rovers boss Tony Mowbray will try everything within his disposal in attempt to beat Wolves, so they can get out of the danger zone.

Therefore, Lambert will more than likely have to make a few changes to his team, if he is to defeat what will be a very determined Blackburn side.

With that in mind, here are TWO Wolves fringe players who deserve to be involved against Blackburn at the weekend...

Michal Zyro

After joining Wolves from Legia Warsaw in January transfer window of 2016, the Polish midfielder made an instant impact in a Wolves shirt scoring three goals in seven appearances. However, early into his Wolves career Zyro suffered horrific injury which saw him on the sidelines for more than a year.

Finally returning back to football from his injury, the 24-year-old managed 45 minutes in a Wolves youth fixture against Norwich, and is now raring to get back into the first team picture.

Zyro would offer Lambert a quick and dynamic winger, and as he is yet to play under Lambert, giving Zyro some playing time against Blackburn will allow the Wolves boss to give a proper evaluation of the Polish international.

With Costa and Cavaliero both a doubt to play due to fitness, Zyro would do a magnificent job covering for the two fan favourites.

Donovan Wilson

The 20-year-old striker has been on fire this season for Wolves' under 23 squad, scoring 11 goals in 22 fixtures, and with Wolves have a striker problems this season, Wilson might be just what Lambert is looking for.

Making two appearances of the bench for the first team, the young english striker has looked very threatening in front of goal but just hasn't been given enough first team minutes to impress the Wolves boss.

His youth record speaks for itself, therefore Wilson should definitely be given his first Wolves start against an under-performing Blackburn team, but so he can also show everyone at Wolves what he's really made of.

Wilson could even be the missing striker which Lambert has been trying to find.
