West Bromwich Albion will be looking to back up their recent triumph over Peterborough United by producing a positive performance in their showdown with Preston North End tonight.

The Baggies sealed all three points in their showdown with Posh last weekend thanks to goals from Grady Diangana, Cedric Kipre and Karlan Grant.

Currently fifth in the Championship, West Brom will move above Queens Park Rangers in the league standings if they beat Preston at The Hawthorns.

Having witnessed his side's display against Peterborough, it will be interesting to see whether Ismael opts to make any alterations to his team today.

Here, we have decided to take a look at TWO selection dilemmas Ismael is facing ahead of the club's showdown with Preston...

Who will replace Daryl Dike up-front?

Daryl Dike would have been hoping to make a positive impact for West Brom in Saturday's clash with Peterborough after recently sealing a permanent move to the club earlier this month.

However, despite showing glimpses of promise during this fixture, the forward sustained a serious hamstring injury at The Hawthorns.

Set to be out of action until March, Dike will be hoping that his team-mates will be able to deliver the goods on a consistent basis during his absence.

Whilst it is unlikely that Jordan Hugill will lead the line for the Baggies tonight due to the fact that he has only managed to score once in 20 appearances for the club, Matt Phillips could potentially fill the void left by Dyke.

Although this is not his natural position, Phillips has featured in a central-role on numerous occasions this season.

Alternatively, Callum Robinson or Grant could be asked to feature up-front by Ismael.

Will Sam Johnstone be brought back into the club's starting eleven?

Sent off during the closing stages of West Brom's clash with Cardiff City earlier this month, Sam Johnstone will be available for selection this evening after serving the final game of his three-match suspension last weekend.

During Johnstone's absence, David Button has produced some assured performances for the Baggies.

Button kept a clean-sheet against Peterborough United and will be determined to retain his place in West Brom's starting eleven for the foreseeable future.

However, although there is a great deal of uncertainty surrounding Johnstone's future due to the fact that his current deal with the club is set to expire this summer, it would be somewhat of a shock if he doesn't feature tonight as he has already made 24 appearances this season.

By producing a positive display against Preston, Johnstone could help his side seal a crucial victory at The Hawthorns.
