West Bromwich Albion have had an up and down decade or so where they have fluctuated between the top end of the Championship and the lower half of the Premier League.

The Baggies have failed to really distinguish themselves as a club in either division and along with probably Norwich, they could be described as the biggest yo-yo club of the last 15 years.

In that time, the Hawthorns has seen a lot of players come and go.

Some of those have made lasting impressions, whereas others have come and gone in the blink of an eye and are easy to forget.

Whether for good or bad reasons, some players just get forgotten and when you think of them, you miss this team off the career path, until you search it.

Here, we look at the two West Brom players you probably completely forgot played at the Hawthorns.

Do you agree, or can you remember someone else that we’ve missed? Let us know in the comments below.

Nicolas Anelka, World Cup winner, played for West Brom. After a glittering Premier League career with various clubs, the Frenchman joined the Baggies towards the end of his career.

You may remember his controversial goal celebrations, but his time at West Brom was truly forgetful, as he failed to make a mark in any matches.

Borja Valero had a brief stint at West Brom, which truly escapes the mind of many.

The Spaniard has had a glittering career with Villarreal, Fiorentina and now Inter Milan, but before that, he spent a season or two at the Hawthorns.
