West Bromwich Albion will be looking to cement their place in the automatic promotion places during the rest of the campaign, and Slaven Bilic will be hoping to potential add some extra quality to his squad this month.

The Baggies have suffered just two defeats in the Championship so far this season, with Bilic being able to call on a reliable starting line-up to pick up consistent results throughout the campaign, although in the last few weeks West Brom have suffered a few injuries to some key players and suffered a dip in form failing to win in their last four league games.

However, with West Brom potentially adding to their squad this month and the likes of Grady Diangana and Kieran Gibbs returning from injury in the next few weeks, some of the Baggies fringe players could potentially see their futures away from the Hawthorns this month.

Here, we take a look at TWO West Brom players whose immediate futures could lie away from the Hawthorns this month…

Rekeem Harper

Rekeem Harper has seen his game time limited in the Championship so far this term, having enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last term making 17 appearances in the league, but the 19-year-old has so far made just one league appearance and had to settle for limited game time in the cup competitions.

The midfielder’s opportunities have been limited by the consistent form of Romaine Sawyers, Jake Livermore and Matheus Pereira, while when Bili has needed to make changes he has preferred the likes of Filip Krovinovic, Gareth Barry and Chris Brunt to Harper.

West Brom have also now been linked with a potential move for Coventry City’s Zain Westbrooke, and were the Baggies to secure his signature it would push Harper even further down the pecking order, meaning that his immediate future could lie away from the Baggies in the shape of a loan move this month.

QUIZ: Where did these 15 West Brom players sign from?

Jack Fitzwater

Another player whose immediate future could lie away from the Hawthorns is Fitzwater, with the defender having yet to feature for the Baggies in the Championship, although the 22-year-old was brought into the starting line-up by Bilic for West Brom’s 1-0 win at Charlton in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Given the Baggies have the likes of Kyle Bartley, Semi Ajayi and Ahmed Hegazi to call upon at the heart of their defence, and Dara O’Shea has been handed some first team involvement this season, it looks unlikely that Fitzwater will be able to force his way into the starting line-up during the rest of the campaign.

Fitzwater benefitted from spending time out on loan with Walsall last season, and another temporary loan move away from the Hawthorns looks like it could be the ideal option for the defender this month, which is something Bilic will likely be eager for him to do.
