West Bromwich Albion will be looking to bounce back from a 1-1 draw at Birmingham City, as they prepare to face Bristol City on Tuesday night.

Matt Phillips' strike earned Darren Moore's men a point on Friday night, a result that sees the Baggies sit 8th in the Championship after three wins, two draws and two defeats.

As ever, games come thick and fast in the Championship, and the Baggies' next game arrives at the Hawthorns on Tuesday night, as Moore's men prepare to face in-form Bristol City.

It'll no doubt be a tough test for the West Midlands side, but there is no doubt that they have the quality in their squad to make a real impact on the division this season.

There are some players, however, that aren't pulling their weight, and here we take a look at two West Brom players that clearly need to up their game...

 

Bartley was one of a few players that didn't have the greatest of performances on Friday night, with a section of Baggies fans criticising him and wanting him to be replaced by Tosin Adarabioyo in the starting line-up.

The 27-year old is a comfortable Championship centre-half and will eventually do well for Moore's men, however needs to up his game in the next few weeks...

 

With over 300 Baggies appearances under his belt, Brunt is putting in some below-par performances of late.

The Baggies looked quite slow and laboured in midfield on Friday night, and the Northern Irish international was eventually brought off to be replaced by Gareth Barry, who put in a decent performance.

Despite being a long-term servant to the club, Brunt needs reminding that his place in the first team isn't secure and performances need to improve...
