West Brom have stuttered a little bit in the Championship in recent weeks and will be looking to make amends as soon as they can.

Of course, this can happen in the second tier more than most leagues and the Baggies will not worry too much yet with them still in touch with those above them.

They do need to tighten up, though, and that will be the plan in the coming months for Darren Moore and his players.

That said, however, some news that might become more pressing by January comes via Sky Sports that Jay Rodriguez is still a target of Burnley's ahead of the winter window.

Certainly, the Baggies would suffer if a player of his calibre left but it would at least open a door for others to try and impress.

With that in mind, then, here are two players that could potentially profit from Rodriguez's mooted departure...

Robson-Kanu has barely played this season so far for the Baggies and when he has he has found it hard to get up to speed straight away off of the bat.

Certainly, he has some talent but he needs to prove it once again and perhaps if Rodriguez leaves he will have that opportunity.

Leko must look at Harvey Barnes and feel as though he could replicate such performances.

There isn't room for him in the side at the moment, though, so he is having to bide his time.

That said, if Rodriguez leaves Leko could come into the side and begin to kick on.
