Queens Park Rangers forward Eberechi Eze is attracting interest from Premier League sides, with Southampton being the main side that is chasing the 21-year-old's signature - according to an exclusive from Football League World.

Eze has made 76 appearances since signing for QPR in 2016 following his release from Millwall and scored 10 goals during his few years at Loftus Road so far, also while playing 22 games and scoring five goals for Wycombe Wanderers during a loan spell in 2017-2018.

The quick forward, who has already netted four goals this season which equals his best season scoring tally during his QPR career, could be set for a move to Southampton in January and so here are two ways that he could fit in at St Mary's if he was to move in January...

Being utilised on the wing

Eze's trickery and skill while on the ball could be dangerous in the Premier League if the winger was placed on the wing, and he may have to adapt slightly if he wants to make a Premier League career for himself.

Eze is also capable of popping up with the odd goal as well and that the effect he can have on the wing could be devasatating for the Saints. If the forward does get a key move to Southampton for his career when January rolls around, then his wing play in the England top flight will be exciting for all to watch and his suitors know exactly what they'll be getting with if they captured one of the Championship's leading lights.

Playing as a second striker

Eze has been used as an attacking midfielder for the best part of his time with QPR and his creativity as well as his driving runs from midfield could help create Southampton plenty of chances.

Eze would be perfect playing off the likes of Che Adams or Danny Ings with the experienced forwards capable of holding the ball up but also possessing explosive pace to get in behind the defence and run onto through balls from the likes of Eze.

Eze more than has the potential to be a threat as a second striker or attacking midfielder while playing for Southampton but the player is still quite raw and will need to adapt quickly if he is to become a real threat if he makes the step up to play Premier League football.
