Tonight sees Charlton Athletic face on of their toughest tests of the season as they travel to the City Ground to face an in form Nottingham Forest.

Sabri Lamouchi's men head into the match off the back of an impressive 2-0 win against Leeds United on Saturday and they will be looking to sneak into the top two by beaten The Addicks tonight.

However, Lee Bowyer will have plenty of faith in his own side despite their recent disappointing defeat to Stoke City.

Here, we take a look at TWO ways Charlton can hurt Forest tonight...

Impact subs

This is a match that feels like it could well be settled in the latter stages of the game and that could benefit Charlton.

Having emerged from a serious injury crisis which had the potential to seriously derail their season, Bowyer now has plenty of options at his disposal.

Macauley Bonne, who has netted eight times already this season, is due to return to the bench following a six game lay-off and January signing Aiden McGeady is due to join him.

Both players could pose a serious goal threat to the Reds.

Energy

Whilst Forest have plenty of players with a lot of ability, they are perhaps lacking that presence in midfield or attack who can make a complete nuisance of himself.

In Josh Cullen, Charlton have that. His energy in the middle of the park is a crucial weapon in the Addicks' armoury and will be pivotal in handing them any advantage in this one.

Both Ben Watson and Samba Sow are into their thirties and Cullen's energy, coupled with the buzzing presences of Bonne and McGeady from the bench, could swing it in the visitor's favour.
