Bristol City take on Reading this weekend and will be hoping to continue their impressive unbeaten run, having not lost since the opening defeat to Leeds United.

The Royals will be hoping to gain a first victory since late August, after having a terrible September under manager Jose Gomes.

Lee Johnson's side will be looking to make Reading suffer when they come to Ashton Gate, and gain a victory that would send the Robins back into the Championship play-off places.

Here are TWO ways that Bristol City can hurt the Royals this Saturday...

Go for it early on

The Robins have to really go for it early on in the fixture and need to ensure that the Royals are put under some really big pressure in the first 20 minutes of the game.

They'll be so low on confidence having lost four of their last five fixtures and Johnson will know that so should tell his team to get right at the Royals and in their faces early on in the fixture when they meet.

Players such as Josh Brownhill and Andreas Weimann have to use their energy and pace to try and unsettle the Reading midfield, and if they can do that early on in the match and pick up the first goal then it could be a really long day for Gomes' side.

Put pressure on Liam Moore

The Reading captain has surprisingly been a weak link in the Royals' backline so far this season. Bristol City have to play on that, and make sure to target him in order to make him buckle whilst he's in this hugely poor run of form.

It's unlike Moore, and that's even more of a reason why the Robins should see this as an opportunity to earn three points against Reading, something they couldn't do last season.

With the defender out of form, it'll be interesting to see if another poor performance will see him dropped, but with the Robins showing they can score goals, it could be another really bad day for Reading and Moore.
