Sheffield United will be looking to bounce back from their recent defeat to Middlesbrough by producing a positive performance against AFC Bournemouth tomorrow.

The Blades were unable to build upon their triumph over Derby County in their clash with Boro on Wednesday as goals from Duncan Watmore and Paddy McNair sealed victory for Neil Warnock's side.

Now set to face an AFC Bournemouth outfit who have yet to lose a game in the Championship this season, United know that they will need to be at their very best in this particular fixture.

Having witnessed his side's underwhelming performance against Middlesbrough, it will be intriguing to see whether Jokanovic decides to make alterations to his team for Saturday's clash.

Here, we take a look at TWO tweaks that the Blades boss could make to his starting eleven at the Vitality Stadium...

Conor Hourihane is given the chance to impress

If Jokanovic is looking to freshen up his options in central-midfield, he could decide to turn to Conor Hourihane for inspiration.

The midfielder was used as a substitute in the club's clashes with Derby and Middlesbrough after producing an impressive performance against Hull City in September.

Hourihane helped his side seal a 3-1 victory over the Tigers by providing two assists in this fixture as he registered a WhoScored match rating of 7.97 at the MKM Stadium.

By replicating this display against Bournemouth tomorrow, Hourihane could potentially retain his place in United's side for the foreseeable future.

David McGoldrick returns to the side

A star performer for the Blades during their promotion-winning 2018/19 campaign, David McGoldrick knows exactly what it takes to thrive at this level.

During his career to date, the Republic of Ireland international has provided 106 direct goal contributions in 323 Championship appearances.

Whilst McGoldrick has struggled for form this season, he may be able to use his wealth of experience to help his side clinch a positive result against Bournemouth tomorrow if Jokanovic gives him the chance to impress.

Whereas Billy Sharp is expected to lead the line for the Blades, McGoldrick could potentially feature in a withdrawn role at the Vitality Stadium.
