Sunderland continued their strong start to the season with an impressive 2-0 win at Swindon on Saturday.

The result means Phil Parkinson's men remain unbeaten in the league and they have now collected four clean sheets in their opening five fixtures, with the back three giving the Black Cats a solid base to build on moving forward.

Despite the win on Saturday, attention will quickly turn to the next challenge and Sunderland are back in action tomorrow when they welcome Crewe to the Stadium of Light.

The newly-promoted side have settled to the third tier instantly and they will pose a challenge to the hosts, although Parkinson's side will start as favourites and they will expect another three points.

Even though there will be a reluctance to make major changes to a team that won last time out, we look at TWO tweaks the boss should consider for this one...

Quiz: Can you identify these 10 ex-Sunderland players by looking at these hidden images?

Start Jack Diamond

The youngster came on when Jordan Willis suffered an injury in the first-half last time out, so this won't be too much of a surprise but it will be the right decision.

Diamond will give the team genuine width and his attacking drives down the flank will be welcome in a game that Sunderland will look to dominate. It's a big chance for the academy graduate to impress and secure a place in the XI moving forward.

Bring Aiden O'Brien in & go 3-4-3

Parkinson has packed the midfield in a 3-5-2 in recent weeks and it's worked very well, with Sunderland limiting their opposition to few chances.

However, they will have to take the initiative at home tomorrow night and a more attacking approach will be required.

So, switching from a midfield trio to two and moving Aiden O'Brien into a front three would make sense. It will allow more numbers to get into the box and it should make the team more of a threat in the final third.
