Fulham will be eager to break back into the Championship play-off places when they travel to Stoke City this weekend after the international break.
Scott Parker’s side sit in seventh place, but know that a win will most likely be enough to see them climb into the coveted patch of the second-tier table.
However, Stoke will no doubt prove trickier customers than in previous weeks, having picked up their long awaited first win of the season on the road against Swansea two weeks ago.
The Whites will therefore need to be careful, and here are TWO changes that Parker should consider making for the trip…
He was harshly dropped to the Fulham bench for their clash with Charlton but more than proved his worth off it, popping up with an assist as they drew 2-2.
One thing that Reid has fallen foul of his not knowing what his best position is, with Aleksandar Mitrovic understandably holding down the striking role.
But he is versatile enough to slot in elsewhere in the Fulham side, and I think it would be well worth Parker’s while perhaps rotating him with Cavaleiro again or slotting him in behind the Serbian.
Should Bobby Reid start for Fulham on Saturday?
Bettinelli just has not been up to scratch so far this season and Parker has to show that he is picking his side on merit.
Rodak was excellent when given the chance in the League Cup against Southampton and it would be of benefit to the whole club if he were to be given a chance in the first-team.
Who knows? Maybe it will be just what Bettinelli needs to kick him in to gear. But regardless, it is a change that Parker has to consider ahead of the clash with Stoke.
