Portsmouth host Bolton Wanderers this afternoon in what looks like a very exciting game in League One.

Many saw the two as play-off hopefuls before a ball was kicked but it's fair to say they haven't had the best of starts, particularly in the case of Pompey who go into the fixture sitting 16th.

Whilst it's slightly more positive for the Trotters, who are three places and three points better off than the hosts, a run of four games without a win has dampened the optimism that was around the club.

So, it's a big game for both at Fratton Park and here we look at TWO things you need to watch for...

Under-pressure managers

There could be a lot of tension on the touchline as both managers will be frustrated as neither are on a good run.

Of course, it's not like this is a game that they need to win to save their jobs, but Danny Cowley and Ian Evatt are two passionate coaches who know that they need to get results to ensure the team can push up the table.

That should make for a feisty game and it wouldn't be a surprise to see if that was shown in the dugouts as well.

Goals

As well as that, you should expect to see goals in this game.

Unfortunately for both sides, they've shown in recent weeks that they're not great at the back, as they're conceding far too many goals.

But, that should make for an entertaining game and there is a lot of attacking talent on the pitch, with Ronan Curtis capable of making a difference for the hosts, whilst Oladapo Afolayan has been outstanding this season for Bolton.
